Family and Friends,

It's with extreme joy and thanks that Amy and I welcome our son, Drew Joseph "DJ" Stevens into our family and the world.

Mother and Son are doing great and both are in good spirits.  The birthing process went smoothly with the help of the excellent staff at California Pacific Medical Center.  Amy was admitted to the hospital at 2:15am and DJ was born at 5:54pm.  He was welcomed with tears of joy and happiness by us and friends who waited patiently to get a glimpse of the handsome young Mr. Stevens.

DJ weighed in at stout 8lbs 15oz and measured at 20.5 inches....a shape somewhat familiar to his fathers before his recent weight loss.

Amy and I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers.  We will be posting some photos of DJ tomorrow as well as any other updates that seem entertaining.

DJ Update

Friends and Family,

Things are going well here at the hospital.  Amy is doing well and managing to maintain a good sense of humor as we continue on the road to meeting our son.  

We still don't know when he'll be here but all signs point to it being today for sure.  DJ's heart rate is good as is his Mom's.  The staff at the hospital couldn't be more helpful and comforting as we move through the day.

Please continue to keep us in your thoughts.

Welcome to our family site!

Amy and I have decided to put this site together, with the help of our friend Allyson, to allow our friends and family an opportunity to share in the birth of our son, Drew Joseph "DJ" Stevens. We are currently sitting in our labor and delivery room waiting for DJ to make his arrival.

The site will be updated with birth information and photos as soon as we get settled in our hospital room.  Keep us in your thoughts today, Sunday, January 25th , as we go through the birthing process.
